This competition for Senior Manager is now CLOSED

The next phase of recruitment for the census will be for the Field Supervisor posts. 440 Field Supervisors are required to manage the census field work at field level. These posts will be advertised here in early September.  For more information click here

The Census of Population will be held on 10 April 2011. The Central Statistics Office requires persons with extensive senior managerial experience to work full-time on a temporary fixed purpose contract basis from September 2010 until June 2011. Successful applicants will manage the census field force at a national and regional level. The work will be challenging and varied.

The CSO is now accepting applications for the following posts.

   6 Census Liason Officers

   44 Census Regional Supervisors

Closing date: The competition will close at 5pm on Wednesday 12th May, or when the total number of applications reaches 5000, whichever is the earlier. In the event that the competition closes before the 12th May a notice to this effect will be posted here.
